We will leave school at 7:00 am. Please be to school at 6:45 am. We will return to school at 7:00 pm.

Lunch / Snacks / Dinner

There will be a snack provided upon arrival to the museum for students and parents. There are restaurants on site. Students may buy their lunch. For pricing, you can view menus at the Henry Ford Museum web site. There are also picnic tables, so a sack lunch is a good option as well. We will not be stopping to eat on the way home, so the students will need a healthy “dinner” snack for our return trip. A sealable water bottle is also a good idea for the bus.  (No pop!)

Gift Shops:

Gift shops are located in the village and museum. Students may bring money for gifts if they choose. Students will be responsible for the money they bring.

***Reminder***

This week Friday the students of 5K will receive a ticket for free admission to the Friday night football home game against Rockford.

This year we have been privileged to have Bryce and Jordan, two former Alward students and current varsity football players, help out in our classroom for the last half hour of the day on most Fridays. Bryce and Jordan have been working with small groups of students to give back to their former school and to make connections with our students. We so appreciate their time and commitment to serve!

To honor our class, the students of 5K  will be receiving a free ticket to the Friday, October 5th game.  The students will be invited to form a tunnel on the football field to welcome the players onto the field at the beginning of the game.  The students are asked to meet me at 6:30 on the grass fields, north of the football field.  You can drop your 5th grader off there, and then pick them up there after we come off the field.  I will have a couple of adults to help me keep our class together.  Please have your child wear Hudsonville or Maize and Blue to support our Eagles!

This week is Spirit Week!
